Following in the footsteps of the late Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MLA from Khadakwasala, Ramesh Wanjale, yet another goldman is trying his luck at the forthcoming civic body elections. 

 

Nationalist Congress Party's (NCP) Samrat Moze (30), who is hoping to contest from Panel 14 in Shivajinagar, has gained recognition for sporting gold ornaments weighing 8.5 kg that cost over Rs. 2.37 crore. Before the code of conduct was enforced, in his bid to attract voters', Moze had put up massive banners across the city with his bling bling on.

When questioned whether the late MNS MLA inspired him, Moze said, "My fascination for gold dates back to my childhood days. My father would gift me gold chains when I was a school kid and I would wear them with pride."

Apart from being a rich farmer's son, Moze is also a tourist bus operator at Shivajinagar. Commenting on his work after he entered active politics a decade ago, Moze stated that so far, he has organised health workshops for women, blood donation camps and has ferried nearly 5,000 pilgrims to religious places such as Akkalkot, Tuljapur and Pandharpur. "I'm sure that the party high command will appreciate my work and allow me to contest for the elections on my merit."

Saudi man tries to sell his son in FaceBook

A
Saudi man has tried his son for sale to continue providing for his
wife and daughter after his illegal debt-collection business was shut
down by a court.



Saud
bin Nasser Al Shahry has posted his offer on Facebook asking for around
USD 20 million. He claims trafficking his son is the only way to avoid
'living in poverty.'



According
to the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, users 'will
not post content or take any action on Facebook that infringes or
violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.'



Al Shahry says he had asked authorities to help him financially, but was denied the request because he was older than 35, mailonline reported.


According to the Saudi Arabian human rights group, National Society for
Human Rights, about half of Saudi children face domestic violence or
some kind of abuse.

Do not try to remove Facebook Timeline: You could be a victim for scammers

If you're not a fan of Facebook's new Timeline, you're not alone. In a
CIO.com poll of more than 600 people, 87 percent responded that they
dislike the new profile design. Unfortunately for them -- and contrary
to Facebook Pages and Groups popping up -- there's no hitting the rewind
button to revert to the old profile. 

 When new Facebook features are added, scammers use the chaos, confusion
and disdain to take advantage of unsuspecting users. The most recent
instance involved the Facebook Ticker. There are ways to remove the
Ticker by using browser extensions; however, there is no such fix for
the Facebook Timeline.

Inside Facebook reported the following just recently:

“Despite Facebook’s efforts to educate users about the new profile,
some people have misconceptions that make them susceptible to scams like
these. We have found 16 Timeline-related scam pages, which have
collectively gained more than 71,000 likes. The largest, with nearly
19,000 likes, has been around for at least two weeks. These pages are
among the top search results when searching Facebook for “timeline.”

There are several Facebook Pages, rogue applications and rogue
browser extensions claiming to show you how to remove the Timeline from
your profile. Just doing a quick search via the Facebook Search bar
revealed the following:

Timeline is being rolled out to all users. If you don’t have it now,
then you soon will. If you have already made the switch and don’t like
it, well, the bad news is that you are stuck with it. There is no way to
revert back to your old profile.

Hacktivists Strikes again

The group, which recently breached the site of think tank Strategic
Forecasting Inc, crippled at least 15 websites and exposed hundreds of
names

Computer hackers from the Anonymous 'hacktivist' group have attacked
German neo-Nazi groups, crippling a reported 15 websites, and exposing
the names of hundreds of extreme right-wing supporters, reports The
Daily Mail.
    A Tweet sent to everyone trying to log onto one Nazi website said: 'We wish all Nazis a good start to the New Year.'
    They have been joined by hackers in Spain, who posted a list of 1,000 alleged customers from a far-right shop. 

    Anonymous's
leaks site is called 'NaziLeaks'. Information on the operation – dubbed
Operation Blitzkrieg – is circulating on Twitter tagged 'OpBlitzkrieg'
and 'NaziLeaks'.
    At present the Nazi-Leaks website says that its account has been suspended.
    As
usual with Anonymous's more public attacks, such as their Operation
Darknet attack on paedophiles, information has been 'mirrored' on other sites to make it harder for 'victims' to get rid of. 

    In
Germany, the Nazi-Leaks website listed the names and personal details
of people who Anonymous claims are account customers at far-right shops
as well as contributors to the country's Junge Freiheit newspaper, which
specialises in extreme right wing rants.
    It's not the first
high-profile hacker attack on German far right supporters - an attack in
May 2011 targeted many of the same sites as 'Operation Blitzkrieg'.
    Some
of the information released in this attack appears to date from earlier
hacker attacks on far right sites. The attack claims to have shut down
15 websites linked to Germany's neo-Nazi National Democratic Party,
including one far right platform called Altermedia.

Recently I made a visit with family and very much  enjoyed their hospitality. In the mean time of preparation, they also served a nice soup. Asked about preparation. Facebook addiction grows divorce cases

 

A lot of married people - about 80% in the process of a divorce - are using a social network such as Facebook to cheat, says a survey of divorce attorneys.

Although the divorce
attorneys agreed Facebook is cited in 20 percent of all divorces, about
80 percent are using some kind of social media to make assignations or
communicate with lovers, the New York Daily News reported. At least one Florida lawyer says those numbers are low and actually closer to about 90%.

"There are times when my
paralegal and I sit in this office and laugh because people are
stupid. They put things out there on the Internet that can last
forever," St. Petersburg, Fla. attorney Carin Constantine told.

Constantine has no problem
finding incriminating photos for her clients by using Google Images to
search the names of divorcees , which can show up even in deactivated
Facebook accounts. 

 "The problem is, if you've
got 400 friends, I assure you one of those friends [doesn't] have all
the privacy settings correct," she said.

We all know that Facebook can get you fired or in trouble with the law, but
now it can easily cost you in a divorce settlement. Use your privacy
settings wisely and don't post photos that you don't want everyone,
including your husband or wife, to see.
